FORMULA

Isatis Gold is a combination of Western and Chinese herbs designed as an herbal antibiotic and anti-viral. Echinacea and goldenseal are used in combination to reduce swelling and treat inflammatory conditions of the upper respiratory tract. Isatis extract (da qing ye and ban lan gen) are widely studied and used in China as a broad-spectrum antibiotic and anti-viral agent. Platycodon (jie geng) is an anti-inflammatory herb that resolves phlegm, relieves cough, moistens the throat, and helps reduce pus. Platycodon (jie geng) and ligusticum (chuan xiong) direct the formula to the upper body. Ligusticum dispels wind and treats sinus congestion, sore throat, and headache.

ADMINISTRATION

"Internal: 3 tablets, every two to four hours

90 tablets, 625 mg

Contraindications: Should notice results within 24 hours. If patient does not show improvement within 48 hours, consider an alternate formula. If taken over 10 days, effectiveness diminishes. The herbs are cold and can cause intestinal cramping."
